{"id":3710,"date":"2026-03-23T17:50:49","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T17:50:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.assioa.it\/how-to-join\/"},"modified":"2026-04-08T14:48:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T14:48:43","slug":"how-to-join","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.assioa.it\/en\/how-to-join\/","title":{"rendered":"How to join"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Italian Association for Organizational Studies welcomes professors, researchers, and professionals interested in the development of organizational disciplines. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By joining ASSIOA, Ordinary and Corresponding Members automatically also become members of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.accademiaaidea.it\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Italian Academy of Business Administration (AIDEA)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span> <\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membership categories and requirements<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Statute provides for various modes of participation, based on professional background:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ordinary Members<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Ordinary Members of the Association are tenured university professors, tenured professors at foreign universities, and fixed-term or permanent researchers within the scientific-disciplinary sector ECON-08\/A (Business Organization). If you belong to this category, you can submit your application via this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfrtj4EYGIei8tYbd_rnwHR2Asroq84e7NuTshagTijqGrvCw\/viewform\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admission form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Corresponding Members:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Corresponding Members are tenured professors from other scientific-disciplinary sectors, PhD graduates, doctoral students, research fellows, scholarship holders, adjunct professors, fixed-term extraordinary professors, and all those who carry out documented teaching and research activities on interdisciplinary topics consistent with those of SD ECON-08\/A and SC 13\/B3. Corresponding Member: For this category, please use the following <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfVU4fCtGEsWjzMn7_8MweQ-0Hz8PM7KQtFX-3FDFDgAEumxQ\/viewform\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dedicated Admission form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Aggregate and Supporting Members<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Entities, companies, institutions, associations, executive figures (public and private), and individuals who wish to support the Association with ideas and resources. The application for admission (signed by the legal representative in the case of an entity) must be accompanied by a written proposal signed by at least one person already registered as an Ordinary Member. All documentation should be sent via email to: <\/span><a href=\"about:blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">presidenza@assioa.it.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Board of Directors evaluates the requirements after the application is submitted.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admission procedure<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admission to the Association is subject to the evaluation of requirements by the Board of Directors. The application process begins by completing the specific form for one&#8217;s membership category.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After submitting the application and receiving a positive evaluation from the Board of Directors, you will receive an email with the outcome of the evaluation and instructions for payment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Do you need faster admission?<\/strong> If your application is related to imminent participation in the WOA or other ASSIOA initiatives, please write to the President (presidenza@assioa.it) and the Secretary of the Board of Directors (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/segreteria@assioa.it\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">segreteria@assioa.it<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) indicating the urgency to activate a priority procedure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membership fees<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To pay the fee, it is necessary to have an account on the Assioa.it website, which is activated for all members by the Secretariat following the admission procedure. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Payment of the fee can be made via credit card or bank transfer through the website. We invite you to carefully check the receipt heading details before confirming the transaction. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membership is valid for the entire calendar year (January 1st \u2013 December 31st), regardless of the payment date. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The membership fees approved by the Board of Directors for 2026 can be consulted in the table below.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Category \u2013 Annual Fee<\/h4>\n<p><strong>First and Second Level Professors<\/strong> <em>(Full Members)<\/em>: \u20ac130<\/p>\n<p>Researchers (<em>Full Members):<\/em> \u20ac100<\/p>\n<p><strong>Postdoctoral Fellows, Research Fellows, and PhD Students <\/strong>(<em>Corresponding Members<\/em>): 60\u20ac<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Professionals <\/strong>(<em>Corresponding Members<\/em>): \u20ac130<\/p>\n<p><strong>Associate and Supporting Members<\/strong>: \u20ac130<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the readmission of lapsed members (after three years of non-payment), a one-time Admission Fee of \u20ac50 is required.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Association for Organizational Studies welcomes professors, researchers, and professionals interested in the development of organizational disciplines.
