School of Qualitative and Mixed Methods for Social Research, 21–25 September 2026
The Marco Biagi Foundation, in collaboration with the Marco Biagi Department of Economics of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, is launching the first edition of the School of Qualitative and Mixed Methods for Social Research.
The School, aimed at developing methodological skills for the design and conduct of social research, will take place from 21 to 25 September 2026 in person at the Marco Biagi Foundation (Largo Marco Biagi 10, Modena).
The School offers three intensive courses focused on research methodologies that are increasingly used in social research today:
- Thematic Analysis
- Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA)
- Mixed Methods and the use of AI
Special attention is devoted to the entire research process: from defining the research question and research design, to data collection and analysis, and finally to the interpretation of results. The teaching approach combines lectures and applied workshops, offering participants the opportunity to work concretely on data and analytical strategies, with the support of internationally recognized faculty.
This initiative is particularly useful for PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and scholars in the field of management and organizational studies, especially for those seeking to strengthen their methodological skills.
